Patrol Promotions

hi guys

just wondering if it is possible to increase ur rank in patrol games - i dont like being a commander lol

and whats the highest any1 has reached in campagin mode?

That would be Captain.

no its currently not possible to gain rank in patrols.

It always appeared that the rank one has already gained , is the one which applies when playing a patrol .

Thus gaining rank is not possible in patrols , but is transferred when playing patrols from the rank gained in Campaign missions .

I think if you successfully complete enough of the tactical missions your patrol rank increases, as in the LFN campaign I'm a captain, while in patrols I'm a commodore

Maybe in Patrols , the highest rank in LFN remained Commodore ( 2nd class), and you are Captain in campaign missions because the old highest rank hasn't changed , but the campaign did , from captain to commodore.

Nothing wrong in being a commander you know...most RN ships had a Commander as the "Captain" the XO was very often a Lt.Cdr too.
