Strange Message - Is It A Problem?

The first time I played the 1.0.35 demo, after I exited, in the bottom of Enigma's DOS/command window it said: STARVATION ENTERED or similar (the window disappears very fast and I have not been able to reproduce the message).

Correction: the message is STARVATION alert.

East? Any idea? Just plain curious.

Does it mean I should stop playing and go for a snack?

That is a system message and often has to do with memory, it is not a game feature.
