Howdy Boys and Girls,
Time for the weekly report for Last Team Standing. Last night was another barn burner. We had up to 28 pilots flying with us last night in LTS. It was a blast, literally! The GE team was pinning the ears back on the SU team. The first two rounds went to SU, but after that the GE team went on steroids and started swatting the SU team out of the sky like flies.
It might have been a little worse on the SU team if not for a forefit of the second round do to a player on the GE team that kept taking off after he was downed. It was most likely a new player who was not familiar with all the rules. He was warned several times, but he failed to respond to the direction of the game directors. In addition the SU team was a couple players short on a few rounds be not fearing any comers we fought with great courage, and besides it just a game Right?
SU team just couldn't get together after second round. Hard as we tried we where not to prevail.
This is a team game and you have to work with that team in order to be victorious! SU tried but just didn't have it all working last night. I myself did some pretty stupid things, but hey I'm still learning how to fly these blasted planes and anyway everyone expects me to make the kind of moves I do.
I seem to take things very literally. If you tell me to go right at'em, that's just what I'm going to do! If I don't hit you with my guns I'm sure my plane will hit you.
I HAVE NO FEAR, AND I FEAR NO MAN, Except for my daddy and his leather strap! If you tell me to stay close and fly you're wing, I'm gonna do that to. I think that 10 feet is to far away. So be careful of what you tell me. All in all it was a fun time for all.
Hopefully, and if you're reading this and you have not played in a LTS event. Stop in sometime to visit with us. This event is open to ALL people and ALL ranks. This includes players that are new to the game too! Game time is 9:00 PM EST.
In addition, get Team Speak installed on your system so you can join in on the fun of listening to all the pilots on your team and see what your team is planning as far as fighting strategy. You can get team speak at http://www.airattack.us You will find it right there on the front page. If you don't want to download it but still want to join in on TS just click on the Join button and come on in as a guest. Once in the help room scroll down to the Red or Purple team and click on the link to hear all the action.
We look forward to seeing you all there.
