Hmmm, Can't See Underwater

I noticed some folks have taken screenshots of there subs underwater, when I hit the external view via F5, all I see is blank white when I'm submerged, could someone tell me why this is???

blank white usually indicates a TNT Rage or S3 video card. You need a Radeon or better card (DX 8.1 compliant)

thanks, I'll have to wait I guess =) Still a most excellent game even without that little tidbit of coolness
